Relating to an unrelated topic on another thread:

There is nothing to be ashame of to be in proverty.  Neither is there anything to be proud of for merely being rich.  

However, arrogance, and laziness are qualities to be ashame of of.

God fearing people is only another English expression for "Christians"

It has been noted that Christian is disporpotionately represented in the US jail.  HOWEVER, it can also be because

a) The criminal used the church as an excuse to reduce jail time.

b) Child molester is known to used the church as a way to approach their victim.

c) The church promote their agenda to the criminal quite actively.

d) With so many gullible people, the church is inheritely a paradise for con-artist.

e) According to Christian CS Lewis, the church tend to attract "sinners" as they see plainly the need for salvation.
