People who flip/flop between believing and not believing, don't relaly know about what is really about "believing".
The confuses "feeling good about it", or "attracted by the talks of the religion" or "touched by it".
I know of a woman who emigrated to Canada, becomes a Christian at 47. She was touched by Genesis that human being is God's creation -- apparently, she and many people with a non-integrated personality, is afraid of the prospect that we came to be out of pure natural processes -- no intention, for no purpose, no reason, no aim, no ultimate destiny, no one cares, no one watching over, nobody listens...not out of love etc. this is hard for many people to accept, especially if the person cannot wean from infantile needs (love from parents, their care and concern etc.)
