我這樣看。找尋語言以描繪自己的知識論與世界觀，是一趟自我發現與認識的過程，可以幫助自己更意識自己的思想特性。那些「主義」標纖，只是縮寫，企圖以最少的文字總結自己當時的哲學思想特徵。一個人絕對可以拒絕「主義」標纖，但他總有某些哲學思想，拒絕「主義」標纖，也可以用更多的文字形容自己，例如以「我對神是否存在這個問題持開放態度」代替「不可知論者」標纖。但似乎又有不少懶惰的人（笑），喜歡更經濟地用字，寧願簡單地叫自己做「不可知論者」。我認為找尋形容自己思想的縮寫，並無不妥。在好像找到形容自己思想的縮寫（例如「基督徒」）之後，不意味便必須停留在那裡，排斥一切其他的可能性，可以（甚至應該）繼續探索及擴闊眼界，必要時修改那個形容自己思想的縮寫（例如改成「無神論者」）。
