〔編譯羅彥傑／綜合報導〕羅馬天主教教宗本篤16世已下令主教們訓練數百名神父成為驅魔人，組成驅魔大隊，矢言「要給惡魔迎頭痛擊」。整個過程將猶如1970年代經典恐怖片「大法師」中，神父與惡魔鬥法的真實版。

教廷開始擔心全世界有愈來愈多人著迷於撒旦信仰與邪教，特別是年輕人經由媒體、搖滾樂與網路接觸到撒旦信仰。因此，梵蒂岡決定，每一位主教都必須讓自己教區內的神父上驅魔課程，以對抗無神論與魔鬼崇拜。

高齡82、身兼驅魔總指揮的神父阿摩斯，在天主教新聞網站Petrus宣佈這項計畫。他說：「感謝主，我們的教宗決定給魔鬼迎頭痛擊。太多主教不把它當一回事，而且沒有委任神父對抗魔鬼。你必須四處物色受過適當訓練的驅魔人。」

他說：「所幸，本篤16世早在主掌信理部時期，就相信惡魔的存在與危險。」他透露，教宗去年和他們這些驅魔神父開會時，就央請他們落實驅魔使命。信理部是梵蒂岡歷史最悠久的單位，本篤16世在1982年還只是拉辛格樞機主教時，就一直領導信理部，直到2005年被選為教宗為止。

根據西元1172年的教會法，所有神父都能進行驅魔。但實際上，只有經過挑選的少數人才能在被召喚的情形下展開此一儀式。驅魔儀式牽涉到一連串請求天主顯靈與阻止魔鬼加害被害人的姿勢與祈禱，據說電影「大法師」也是根據真實事件改編。

阿摩斯神父說，教宗打算恢復聖彌額爾總領天使祈禱文，因為一般相信聖彌額爾總領天使是對抗魔鬼的主要守護神，而這篇祈禱文傳統上都是在彌撒結束時吟誦。他表示：「這篇祈禱文不只對神父們有用，對俗人亦然。舉例來說，如果俗人知道某人著魔，而身邊又沒有驅魔人，就能藉由念祈禱文施救，命令魔鬼離開那人身上。」

I have doubt on "魔鬼". Is that "魔鬼" created by God in the Bible?

  If it is, then it seems that God create 魔鬼 to trick people (e.g. to trick the guys to eat 禁果).

  If it is not, then 魔鬼 can exist without God's creation (自有, one of the properties of Christian God).

  By the way, it seems that the God didn't elminate the 魔鬼 for such a long time.... Otherwise, why 神父 need to 驅魔? Also, those in God's name could only "驅"魔, but not "kill"魔. Is that because they can't kill 魔? Or the God wants to 食花生等睇戲....

至於為何上帝不消滅魔鬼，我聽過一個說法是魔鬼已與許多人結合，一旦被消滅，那些人都會死。

Even if the God allowing 魔鬼 to exist is not the "triggering cause" of causing harm to human (if this is harmful...), but this is nevertheless a "structural cause". The God is still causing "harm" to people by 魔鬼....
Just like a fire in a buliding, throwing a lighted cigarette is the "triggering cause", but placing too many inflammable in the buliding would be the "structural cause" of the fire....
Also, being logically consistent doesn't mean the statement is true...

in term of the # of the deaths caused by each respective party ,
Catholiccism or Protestant Christiannity e.t.c.
's done a much better + effective job than any other devil ,
