Just one in four Catholic priests and Mainline Protestant pastors in the United States say they're certain that Adam and Eve were real people. In contrast, 80% of Evangelical pastors and 89% of black Protestant clergy affirm this belief with certainty.
Data from the National Survey of Religious Leaders reveal significant differences among clergy in their core theological beliefs, including their views on the Bible, Hell, miracles, and the existence of God, as noted by Graphs About Religion on Substack.
When asked whether they “definitely believe” Adam and Eve were historical figures, the numbers diverged sharply across denominations, dropping to 25% among Catholic and Mainline Protestant respondents.
Licence to Kill is a 1989 spy film, the sixteenth in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions, and the second and final film to star Timothy Dalton as the MI6 agent James Bond. In the film, Bond resigns from MI6 in order to take revenge against the drug lord Franz Sanchez who ordered an attack against Bond's friend and CIA agent Felix Leiter and the murder of Felix's wife after their wedding.
雖然又確實唔係好明,咩叫mainline,係咪即係mainstream,咁又好似講到福音派唔係mainstream咁,唔知佢係咪將路德會衛理宗浸信會果啲分開(吓乜浸信會又唔算福音派?)。

Mainline churches, also known as Mainline Protestant churches, are a group of historically prominent, traditionally Protestant denominations in the United States. They are often contrasted with evangelical churches, and are typically seen as holding more liberal theological views, while maintaining traditional practices regarding public gatherings and church governance.
Theological Diversity
While generally considered more theologically liberal, mainline churches encompass a range of views, from conservative to liberal.
Acceptance of Diversity
They are often more open to diverse beliefs and faiths, including the ordination of women and affirming LGBTQ+ individuals.
Mainline church and mainstream are related but distinct terms, particularly within a religious context. "Mainline" typically refers to a specific group of historically prominent Protestant denominations in the United States, while "mainstream" broadly describes the dominant trends in thought, culture, or practice within a society. While mainline churches once held a mainstream position in American society, their influence has declined, and they are now distinct from the broader mainstream culture.
Mainline Protestant churches generally accept evolution as a scientifically established fact
New data reveals a frightening reality about Mainline pastors. In this episode of Answers News, our hosts Avery Foley, Dr. Jennifer Rivera, and Patricia Engler share their perspectives on this topic as Bible-believing Christians.
