Spend a minute to support controlling CO2 from Power Plants
Dear friends,
We have collected over 4,000 signatures calling for actions against carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions from power plants. Are you part of them?
The Hong Kong government is amending the Air Pollution Control Ordinance to limit air pollutants from the two local power companies, CLP and HEC from 2010 onwards. Yet, CO2, the major greenhouse gas (GHG) causing climate change, is not regulated at all. 4,000 endorsements are important but not enough to move the government for action. Your support is going to make changes.
The window is closing. Please take the last chance to sign the appeal, and forward this to 10 of your friends. Your message will be delivered to the Chief Executive and the Secretary of Environment Bureau. Don't hesitate. Act now!
