Sure, so Jesus just taunt the Jews to kill him.  It is common for people to have suicidal wish?   If the baptism is set by God as a tradition to follow, so is the Sabath.

Apparently 'wives' are replaced with 'sex' in later version

19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

Apparently God is not interested in seeing their wives evening after everyone get consecrated by baptism.
