For some strange reason, when I study the little history in Canada, they do talk about how day to day people live.  When I go to the library and check the text of history of France, they also speak of normal day to day life of peasant.

For example, on Nov 11, they do talk about how Hong Kong citizen and the Canadian POW live through the Japanese occupation.

Take another example, the Bristish has record that show clearly the month to month price level of crucial item.  There is also record on the cause of death of normal citizen.  Both of these are basis of the Wealth of Nation, and future medical/mathematical study.

Who is more successful in evolution?  Rabbit or tiger?

Is there more tiger or rabbit?

In evolution, it is the fittest that will survive, not the strongest.  In the evolution sense, it is for our self interest that we help each other.  

Monkeys will help each other, so will bats, so will many primates...  cooperation is quite common in wild life.
